Born on 8^th September 1978 at Amet (Rajasthan), Dr. Pagaria obtained B.Sc. (Honours) Agriculture (1998) SKRU Bikaner and M.Sc. in Soil Science (2000) from IGAU, Raipur; Ph.D. Soil Science (2004) from MPUAT, Udaipur; He joined as SMS(Soil Science) at KVK Barmer Danta (2006-2018). Thereafter, he joined as Senior Scientist & Head in May, 2018 at KVK Gudamalani (AU, Jodhpur). Dr. Pagaria has published 26 research papers, 05 technical bulletin/training/practical manuals, 03 book chapters, 15 popular articles, 07 conference souvenir, 14 proceeding/lead papers and presented 15 papers in symposia/seminars/conference, 8 Radio and 4 TV Talk.

This project was sanctioned in 2020 under the RKVY. KKVK is functioning for skill training in agriculture and allied sciences to make them employable and earn their livelihood.

The objectives of KKVK are as follows:-

Enable and mobilize a large number of youth to take up skill training in agriculture and allied sciences to make them employable and earn their livelihood, Skill development will be carried through providing

technical and services know how in the field of agriculture and allied sectors.

Helping the youth to start up their enterprise in the agriculture and allied sectors.

Achieving rapid growth in the Agriculture sector through intensive skill development.

Enhancing the economic value of me and labor of landless workforce.

Creating more non-agricultural jobs. (Agriculture allied activities)

Linking the farm labor with wage related employment in Agriculture sector, during non farming months.

Increase productivity of the existing workforce, and align skill training to the actual needs of the country.

Making farmers of the country Agriculture entrepreneurs through Market information.

Provide monetary awards for skill certification to boost employability and productivity of youth. Kisan Kaushal Vikas Kendra was established under the supervision of Dr. Pradeep Pagaria.
